The Recall Made Easy course is an online dog training course designed to help dog owners address common issues such as their dogs chasing after other dogs, intruding on other people's picnics, or exhibiting undesirable behaviors. The course aims to provide dog owners with the skills and knowledge to enjoy off-lead time with their dogs.

Why take this course?

  • Improved Safety: Recall can be crucial in keeping your dog safe in potentially dangerous situations. Whether your dog is approaching a busy road, encountering unfamiliar animals, or getting into other hazardous situations, being able to call them back promptly can prevent accidents and injuries.

  • Complete off-leash freedom: Having a reliable recall allows your dog to enjoy off-leash activities such as hiking, playing at the park, or running in open spaces while still remaining under your control. This freedom enhances your dog's quality of life by allowing them to explore and exercise in a natural environment.

  • Greater bonding and trust: Training your dog to recall strengthens the bond between you and your pet. It requires communication, cooperation, and trust-building, all of which contribute to a stronger relationship. When your dog learns to respond to your recall command consistently, it demonstrates their trust in you as their leader.

  • Enhanced behavioural management: Recall training is not only about getting your dog to come back to you when called; it also teaches them impulse control and obedience. By reinforcing the recall command, you're instilling good behaviour and manners in your dog, which can help manage and prevent problematic behaviours such as running away, chasing other animals, or ignoring commands.

  • Meet legal requirements: In many places, leash laws mandate that dogs must be under control when in public spaces. Having a reliable recall ensures that you can comply with these laws while still allowing your dog some freedom to move and play.
